Pedrali’s cultural hub

Today’s office? It’s a Cultural Hub. This is how Pedrali reads and interprets new ways of working and living in the spaces dedicated to them. They present this at Orgatec, the trade fair par excellence dedicated to the office world in all its nuances through a broad showcase of new proposals and range expansions.

Pedrali’s vision takes shape from a renewed concept of workspace: no longer the traditional workplace, static, individualistic, technical, but a space that reflects the changes of time and a new corporate culture. Alongside productivity and efficiency, today’s office promotes a sense of belonging, sharing, collaboration, creativity, and learning in an increasingly open, dynamic, and very comfortable environment. In its new collections, Pedrali perfectly adapts to this trend by focusing on the flexibility and ergonomics of the furnishings, to create workspaces that are easily customizable and can be reconfigured according to the needs of the moment. A versatile design indeed allows for changes in the physical arrangement of the environments and even the modes of work: with diversified layouts, it is possible to create different experiences each time. It is from this concept that products like the Rizz Workstation and Plural Soft are born.

Rizz Workstation by Pedrali, design Robin Rizzini

An evolution of the Rizz table designed by Robin Rizzini, the Rizz Workstation has a larger work surface. To support large shelves, there is a rectangular column with rounded steel corners below the surface, which also serves as a cable entry. It can be completed with sound-absorbing divider panels, which can be inserted for greater privacy or, once removed, facilitate interaction and communication within collaborative spaces, open spaces, and meetings.

This concept is also reflected in the iconic Arki-Table Desk, a modular system of work desks equipped with optional fabric-covered sound-absorbing screens. Along with the cable trough, a series of accessories like the monitor support and colorful magazine holders make this collection extremely customizable. Plural Soft is another evolution of a model presented in 2014 and designed by Jorge Pensi Design Studio, which focuses on multiplicity: the now padded seating can be arranged to create systems of three, four, six, and nine seats, thus creating welcoming areas, entrance halls, dynamic lounges that are constantly evolving.

Adapting to the location but also to the user (and their needs) is now the new imperative, and thus the furnishings become increasingly ergonomic: adjustable, equipped with mechanisms to ensure the right comfort, and providing full control of one’s working space to enhance well-being. Like Diego, the new table by Jorge Pensi Design Studio, which, thanks to a simple knob, adjusts the height of the tabletop, making it ideal for working from a sofa or armchair; distinctive is the base, characterized by four feet, with the two front ones being asymmetrical compared to the back ones to allow the table to get as close as possible to the seating.

The common thread of all Pedrali’s proposals remains the idea of comfort, offered both by the padding and the enveloping design that supports seating, as well as a widespread sensoriality that becomes a source of well-being: soft yet high-performing fabrics, technological and natural materials, sustainable and soft to the touch, sound-absorbing systems, organic lines that create a soft and coherent panorama to the eye; up to the colors with varied pastel shades that stimulate positive and invigorating emotions.

Buddy Oasi by Pedrali, design Busetti Garuti Redaelli

An ideal synonym of this vision is the Buddy collection designed by Busetti Garuti Redaelli, a corollary of padded islands that have evolved in function and composition over time. A new entry is Buddy Oasi, a system of generously sized poufs maintaining the contrast between the full volumes of the seat and the lightness of the typical frame of the collection: characteristic here are the freely positionable mobile backrests.

Completing the collection, this year Buddyhub Sideboard is added, the storage unit of the Buddyhub family, practical and versatile in use, thanks also to the sound-absorbing panel that embraces its structure. And in terms of comfort, the series of novelties is concluded with the Laja 2 seating by Alessandro Busana, chair, and armchair that maintain a sophisticated allure in all their numerous variants: with four legs in aluminum or ash, in steel rod sled, steel tube, cantilever, or base with feet with wheels or swivel. Thus, Pedrali tells its “new vision of work.”
