IYO Restaurant, Claudio Liu’s contemporary Japanese cuisine restaurant in Milan, has undergone a total redesign signed by Lai Studio | Maurizio Lai Architects. In the new project Poliform Contract was responsible for the structural elements of the restaurant hall, the two private rooms and the lounge bar.
The ceiling covering, the natural walnut flooring, the panelling and the partitions are characterized by a change of materials, thanks to the combination of wood, fabric, Murano glass, mirrors and steel.
The custom-made furniture is also by Poliform: square and round tables with marble tops, wood inserts and steel bases, marble and steel coffee tables, chairs and armchairs upholstered in bouclé fabric. Also the wine rack, steel consoles, wooden sideboards with marble and steel inserts, as well as the counter (also in steel), seating, accessories and panelling in the lounge bar.
