Unique perspective: the sea

Overmarine Group announces the sale of the first Mangusta Oceano 52, the new flagship of the steel and aluminium displacement yacht line. A model that redefines volumes, spaces and the entire in & out experience, elevating the dialogue between interior and exterior environments to an unprecedented level

The new Mangusta Oceano 52 creates an extraordinary experience in direct contact with the water. On board, you feel completely immersed in the sea, enveloped by its shades of green and blue, while the yacht becomes an integral part of the landscape in an uninterrupted continuum. Every element of this superyacht has been designed to ensure a constant visual dialogue with the sea in every environment: the gaze can wander freely, without obstacles, through the interiors and towards the horizon. This immersive sensation, combined with its distinctive comfort, makes the Mangusta Oceano 52 an exceptional yacht. It is precisely this balance between comfort and style that won over the first owner, a South American client who already owns other boats and who recognised a superior level of experience in the Mangusta Oceano 52.

The result of the synergy between Overmarine‘s Engineering Department and designer Alberto Mancini, the project represents the natural, yet bold, evolution of the previous Mangusta Oceano 39 and Mangusta Oceano 44. At 52 metres, the new Mangusta Oceano 52 aims to become a benchmark in the under 500 GT superyacht segment, introducing a completely new concept of space utilisation.

In addition to its constant connection with the sea and the surprising harmony between the different areas, the new flagship of the Overmarine Group’s line of steel and aluminium displacement vessels offers volumes and surfaces that far exceed expectations for this segment, giving the feeling of being on board a 60-metre yacht.

The effect is achieved through the design of the glass surfaces and technical choices aimed at eliminating obstacles, creating a common thread between inside and outside and an infinite perspective between the interior and exterior of the boat. The main deck is made almost entirely of glass, especially in the stern area, where the usual “trunks” are absent, having been moved to the outside in this case. Among the main innovations of this superyacht, always in the spirit of new spaces and a renewed lifestyle concept, the location of the owner’s suite stands out, situated on the upper deck and facing the bow.

This design choice creates a private environment of extraordinary impact, with a 180° view of the horizon. This gave rise to the concept of “A deck above the rest”, an expression that defines the identity of the new project. Full-height windows allow natural light and the view to envelop the owner in an atmosphere of total relaxation.

The suite leads to the completely private outdoor deck, where the large ‘Mangusta Signature’ infinity pool takes centre stage. From here, a convenient staircase leads to the lounge patio on the main deck, an extremely versatile area that can be transformed from a gym to a lounge area.

This deck houses two VIP cabins, located in the position traditionally reserved for the owner’s suite (one of which has been converted into an office), in a privileged area where the view and brightness create an ideal environment even for long stays, while the lower deck houses four guest cabins. This is the configuration chosen by the owner from among the twelve proposed by the shipyard. The Mangusta Oceano 52 therefore stands out for its extraordinary modularity: it represents a flexible design platform, conceived to offer the owner and his “inner circle” spaces to live in and personalise according to their needs. This first model is under construction at the Overmarine Group shipyard in Pisa, with delivery scheduled for spring 2027.
