“A superyacht not just to live in, but to truly feel”. This is how Federico Lantero, Azimut‘s Product Design Manager, introduces the new Grande Trideck. It was conceived to embody the style of total freedom and spontaneity favored by a new generation of owners, free from rigid forms and more inclined to an emotional, instinctive interpretation of life at sea. This emotional expression takes concrete form in the design by Alberto Mancini, who created the sleek, sculptural exteriors, and by the m2atelier duo, who successfully developed an integrated interior design language deeply rooted in the brand’s DNA.
«What we aimed to achieve with m2atelier», Lantero continues, «was an interior vision where every element is designed to create an emotional resonance. It’s not just about elegance, but about crafting an atmosphere that evolves with its inhabitants, offering an inviting calmness paired with decisive sophistication. From how materials respond to light to the clarity of spaces and the meticulously detailed design, we are redefining how movement flows within the yacht».
The expertise of specialized artisans was crucial in harmonizing with the element that most guides perception and reveals depth: light. Thus, throughout the yacht, a choreography of layered geometries and shifting perspectives unfolds, creating a kaleidoscopic architecture—from the meticulous alignment of wood grains to the interplay of light and shadow. The varying intensity of light, according to the time of day, reveals material textures, literally sculpts spaces, and becomes an architectural element.
«It’s the invisible thread connecting every environment, accentuating the fluidity of the layout and giving each area a distinct atmosphere,’ confirm Marijana Radovic and Marco Bonelli, co-founders of m2atelier». A dynamic effect thus pervades the entire yacht, almost readable at a single glance – from the main saloon to the owner’s suite and even extending to the sea. This experience of extreme openness, however, never sacrifices intimacy. The owner’s suite itself transforms into an ensemble of layered transparencies, where glass partitions and vertical elements extend the visual horizon. Even outdoor living achieves new levels of comfort and creativity. The bow deck hosts a recessed pool with integrated chaise lounge and a rotating sunbathing backrest. And the Sky Lounge becomes a retreat ready to transform according to the owner’s rhythms, becoming an informal living area, a media room, or a dining space.
