Ethimo | Kilt

The dense texture of the rope connotes the lounge chair Kilt. Designed by Marcello Ziliani, this chair dining, enveloping and light, expands its elegant naturalness of Mediterranean matrix with two new colors

With a name that immediately suggests a given geographical area, Kilt calls into play the woven garment that wraps the loins of the proud inhabitants of the Scottish Highlands. A dense weave of cords sets the tone of this refined lounge chair designed by Marcello Ziliani for Ethimo; natural cord that embraces the teak structure to form the back and seat, while ensuring comfort and strength.

The result is a dining chair with an enveloping silhouette, light, versatile, a successful blend of aesthetic elegance and functional quality.

The versions in natural teak and sand-color cord, and in the pickled teak finish with dark gray cord, are joined by new proposals for 2021: the dense weave in olive green and ruby-wine red expand the chromatic range, in tune with the natural atmosphere from which the chair takes its image. The collection also includes practical side tables (in natural or pickled teak) and a 90×90 cm dining table, in natural teak.
